- Feb 23rd - Celebrating Kathy's birthday at Tratorria Ragazzi in Green Valley
- Nice view of the Santa Rita Mountains just east of Green Valley
- March 1st - Tubac is an artists town 23 miles south of Green Valley and 20 miles from the Mexican border

- Great Mexican food and STRONG margaritas
- March 3rd - We went to Sabino Canyon in NE Tucson
- Kathy, Pam, and Bob at a pickup point on the 3.9 mile Sabino Canyon road
- It's 3300 feet at the road's end and 4000 feet on the canyon walls
- There are several scenic bridges on this route
- We hiked about a mile on the main road
- We had to take off the shoes for this crossing
- The scenery is great with tons of Saguaro Cacti

- March 9th - Ron and Lynn Soleta visited from Minnesota
- In Tubac with Ron and Lynn. Ron, Bob Geiger, and I are tenors in our church choir back home
- There are many good art galleries in Tubac

- March 19th - Brunch with MN bike club friends, Peter Grill, John Duntley, Deb Grill, Kathy, and Margaret Duntley
- I play lots of tennis at the Desert Hills Rec Center
- Minnesota friends Bill and Marie Kidder live in Tucson. We met with them and the Grills for a trip to Tubac
- First we lunched at Wisdom's before shopping in Tubac
- March 26th - Fourth Avenue Street Fair in Tucson
- We needed ice cream after our brisket sandwiches
- Fourth Avenue has lots of funky businesses and restaurants
- We tried out Hawaiian hanging chairs ($120)
